I met Marisa at a ladies soiree and she told me she lived in Venice and wanted to capture the feel of where they live in their engagment shoot! Quite the interesting day as we trotted all over the boardwalk and had so much fun as the characters in Venice never disappoint!

Both Beth and Lawrence have this demure and sophisticated appeal to them so when their video slide show played during the reception is quite a shock about how hilarious they really are! Her sister, during her toast, broke down in tears professing how much Beth means to her and how happy she was. Oh, and the children, they couldn’t be any cuter hamming it up any chance they had for the cameras! They got married in Costa Mesa at their local church and the reception was held at a private country club. They asked the driver of the rolls royce to take me and my crew to the reception and much to our dismay he took us to the wrong reception!!! So….the guests were waiting for the couple to make their entrance and meanwhile we are twenty minutes up the road! That’s never happend before but it all worked out and eventually had a good laugh about it!
Niki and Ryan are so cute you just want to pinch their cheeks! Ryan is very passionate about cars so they had a beautiful woody for their exit from the church.Each table was set with a place card of different autos that they love! Their friends and family were so fun and everyone was so happy to be there. They held their ceremony at the most amazing chapel in Montecito and then partied it up at the Montecito Country Club where Niki was just sparkling with happiness!

Gina wanted to marry Thahn in a traditional Vietnamese fashion so she donned on a gown from her Asian culture and then donned another, and then another…..They had so much entertainment and exciting things going on that I had to remind myself that I was still in the United States. Their ceremony and reception was imbued with their heritage and it was exciting to see them honor their families that way. Beautiful and sweet couple they are!!

Samantha and Eric are beyond amazing and fun! We have become great friends and am so glad to document their incredible day! The Bel Aire Hotel was were their celebration was held and Samantha, being a phenomenal event and party planner had a gigantic table set under chandeliers outside that fit all 150 of their guests. Exquisite and elegant details! Then she had the coolest candy bar and so many activities set up—-so much fun! From the Neil Diamond impersonator, to the fuze ball table, magician, and japanese candy makers it was so much to take in as Samantha made sure her guests had the time of their lives!
We shot Lulu and Mark’s wedding and although the ceremony was gorgeous her dream of being photographed on the beach at sunset didn’t happen because the rolls royce broke down and they got to the reception after it was dark! We came back some months later after she had a baby and got back into shape so she could have the beach photos she always wanted! What great light we had!
Beth and Lawrence wanted their engagement shoot to reflect Lawrence’s love of music. We shot them at the ever nostalgic Union Station downwtown Los Angeles and at Disney Hall. They were such great sports and we had a lot of fun creating these photographs together.
Rachel and Zach tied the knot at The Beach Club in Santa Monica and they had such beautiful colors and divine flowers. I have to say the 3 ring bearers and two flower girls were enough to make you want to run out and get pregnant, they were that CUTE!!!! Rachel has the most delicate and sweet son and they incorporated giving him a ring during the ceremony and there wasn’t a dry eye on the beach when Zach leaned down to put the ring on his finger!!! What a beautiful day!
Rachael and James got married at Pepperdine in their exquisite chapel and then chose the Calabasas Inn for their reception with it’s gorgeous grounds. Rachael’s dog, Abby, is truly the love of her life, besides James! She had Abby walk down the aisle and made sure she was the center of attention. Oh, and their cake!!!! I mean, really, I wanted to wear it as a dress it was so decadent! Gorgeous wedding and beautiful couple!
Both Liz and Phillip are huge sports fans and follow Georgetown and UCLA religiously! They LOVE to have a good time and have oodles and oodles of amazing friends and family around them for support! Their wedding was held on the roof in Marina Del Rey. Check out some of their wonderful moments!
